Blooming Pajamas, Bringing Joy to Your Morning Rituals

Every detail of your morning plays a role in setting the stage for the rest of your day. Yes, even small details like your pajamas impact and sit within your subconscious.

Have you ever thought about your pajamas outside of their functional capabilities? For example, are your pajamas matching or mismatched? Are they a color that is energizing or dulling? Do they have tears or rips? Are they a solid color or a vibrant pattern? As you answer each of these questions, how do you feel? Now think of your pajamas, do you have a smile on your face? I hope so!

Your pajamas, the outfit you see yourself most in. The book ends to your day; what you wake up in and what you end your day in. Wow! What a thought … the role of pajamas in our lives.

I have always been a pretty particular pajama person. In fact, growing up I would always show up to sleepovers and slumber parties with matching pajama sets. I guess you can say pajamas are somewhat of a trademark of mine, and they typically reflect the season. Growing up my Mom always bought be two sets of pajamas per year, one for Christmas and one for Easter. I still keep up with this tradition today. In winter my pajamas are long - sleeved, pants, typically made of flannel or a heavy fabric in a dark color. These pajamas remind me of lazy mornings, drinking tea, lingering in bed, slower movements, holidays, and coziness. As the weather warms up, I swap my warmer pajamas for a tank or tee set sometimes even a nightie made of a light breathable fabric in light colors or a floral design. I absolutely love floral pajamas with all of their colors and life! For me, floral patterns deepen my connection with nature and bring a smile to my face from sunset to sunrise. Put simply when I wake up in my pajamas I feel happy, joy, and peace. How do your pajamas make you feel? I hope similar!

To help with your spring pajama edit I have gathered some of my favorite sustainable pajamas for Spring 2020. Hope you find a set that suits your fancy and keeps you smiling!

See you at Sunrise,

Stephanie
